The media spends a lot of time talking about the "FORECLOSURE CRISIS".  Below is an interactive map that will show you what is happening on the ground here in Minnesota. All real estate is local.

A brief summary statement would be this – 1 out of every 889 housing units received a foreclosure filing in December 2011. If you annualized that statistic, about 1 OUT OF EVERY 75 homes would fit this description.

1 out of 75 of most things doesn't sound like a crisis to me.
