At Hanson Builders, it is our joy to give back to communities locally and around the world. We believe it is our responsibility to help make the world a better place, and we do that in several ways.
Working for a Cure with St. Jude
We’re proud to have built Minnesota’s first St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace. Together with many partners, we built this beautiful, luxurious home in Maple Grove’s Evanswood neighborhood. And upon its successful sale in the spring of 2026, we donated the net proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. We were glad to give our time, labor, and resources to support St. Jude’s mission: Finding cures. Saving children.® St. Jude received approximately $1.23 million from this sale, the largest donation they have ever received from a St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace. We’re proud to have supported their life-saving work in such an impactful way.

Building Homes of Hope
Many families around the world live in substandard housing. Homes of Hope International, a ministry of Youth With a Mission San Diego/Baja, aims to remedy this issue, one house at a time. We have worked alongside Homes of Hope to build safe, secure homes for families in need in places like Tijuana, Mexico. A debt-free home provides shelter, hygiene, stability, and the opportunity to put funds toward schooling and other essential needs. We’re proud to participate in this loving ministry that brings hope and spiritual transformation to needy communities.
Strengthening Communities
We gladly give of our time and money to worthy organizations in our community, including Feed My Starving Children. In addition to donating monetarily, we love the way that volunteering at FMSC strengthens our team and allows us to give back in a tangible way. We hope to see you there next time!
